CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
REMINDER PARENTS MUST PICK UP THEIR KIDS AFTER SUNDAY SCHOOL – Due to insurance reasons, we cannot release kids to older siblings or friends. Parents MUST pick up their kids after Sunday School.

THINGS TO COME CONFERENCE
February 6-8, 2026
At the Things to Come Conference, we’ll explore what Scripture says about the future of the world, the rapture, God’s storyline for the last days, and the role we’re called to play in it.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS CHOIR
Our Children’s Christmas Choir will perform on December 21 at the 9am and 11am church services. There will be practice every Sunday at 10:30am leading up to December 21. Practice will take place in the grade 2 Sunday School classroom. All children who would like to be in the Christmas Choir are encouraged to attend the practices. Remember there will be no Christmas play this year.
CHRISTMAS FOOD HAMPER DONATIONS
We are collecting food to make special Christmas hampers filled with Christmas treats to bless our 35 hamper families this Christmas season. Some of our families are very large so we need a lot of extra food to fill these baskets with. All food donations need to be in by Tuesday, November 25th!
Donation ideas: Gingerbread houses, tortilla chips and salsa, christmas candy and cookies, candy canes, crackers, pretzels, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy mix, taco kits, holiday cereal, brownie and cake mixes, icing, hot chocolate and marshmallows.
WINTER CARNIVAL
This year Winter Carnival is on Friday, December 5 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. This is a fun night of Christmas celebration for our invited hamper families.
Ways to get involved…
DECORATING THE CHURCH FOR CHRISTMAS
We will decorate the church for Christmas on November 26 starting at 9am. Anyone is welcome to join staff for this fun day! Message alli@linkchurch.org if you would like to come help out.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
Shoeboxes are now available to pick up at the Connect Centre. When you pick up a shoebox be sure to also grab a brochure that explains everything you need to know for this year. National Collection Week is November 17-23. The collection site for Medicine Hat is Hillcrest Church. Please drop your filled box off at Hillcrest Church or bring them back to the Link no later than Sunday, November 23.
DEBIT TERMINAL IN FOYER FOR TITHING
We now have a debit machine at the Connect Center for those who would like to tithe by debit. Instructions are provided or you can ask the volunteer at the Connect Center for assistance.
FOOD PANTY NEEDS:
Please save your empty egg cartons and 4L water bottles and bring them to the church. We could use them for our food pantry.
Donations of non perishable food are always welcome and needed, some ideas are:
- Cereal, instant oatmeal, pancake mix & syrup
- Pasta & sauce
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Granola bars, fruit cups
- Soup, peanut butter, jam, rice
We are looking for delivery drivers for our food hamper ministry. If you are interested in helping out contact rhonda@linkchurch.org

Tuesday Evening Women’s Ministry Advent Study
“Behold the Savior” is a 4-week study in the first 2 chapters of Luke, celebrating the first Advent and looking forward to Jesus’s return.

SUNDAY MORNINGS – Our prayer room will be open Sunday mornings from 8:30am-9:00am for preservice prayer and from 10:30am-11:00am. This is available to anyone who would like personal prayer or for those who have been impacted by the message.
